Cowboy Soul

Cowboy Soul is story told completely through song, a rock opera, set in a post-apocalyptic, fantasy western landscape of cowboys and demons.
This story is about a sexy hot Demon Queen who wants the tortured and tasty soul of Levi-- the greatest demon hunter in all the land. She sets her number one bad bitch Selene to go and collect. Along the way we meet Levi’s lawless younger half brother Pyro, who was abandoned by Levi as a young boy after losing their parents in a horrific tragedy.
Adventure! Betrayal! Demon battles! A hanging tree! Healing your childhood traumas! These are just some of the things you’ll experience with Cowboy Soul.

Melanie's Story
I remember it was before one of our 2022 Deep Love shows in Chicago that Garrett approached me and said he had an idea… without saying anything else he showed me a note on his phone; all it said was: Music by Garrett Sherwood, and Story by Melanie Stone. I don’t think I played it cool at all. I was over the friggin 'moon that The Garrett Sherwood wanted to collaborate with moi on a new rock opera!
For years I had been daydreaming about one set in the post apocalyptic west with DEMONS, and I pitched it to him. He was in. BOOM! Cowboy Soul was born. After that I just had to solidify the story. Thankfully, I had the most magical character inspo from my insanely talented Deep Love co stars, Garrett, Amy, and Chase. These characters were lovingly written for them.
